Illawarra Police Charity Ball

The longest running police ball in NSW

In 2025, the Illawarra Police Charity Ball will celebrate its 37th anniversary on Friday 4 July at 6.00pm at the Fraternity Club in Fairy Meadow. The first ever Ball was held at the Frat in 1986 so it is sure to be a very special night when we return there in 2025.

The Ball is regarded as a community celebration which aims to provide a great night out, while at the same time raising much-needed money for local charities. Everyone is welcome and attendees to the Ball come from a broad cross-section of the Illawarra, from emergency service personnel to business representatives and members of the community. This endeavour is assisted each year by generous sponsorships and donations from a variety of businesses throughout NSW. To date, the ball has raised over $500,000 for local charities and will continue building on this tremendous amount.

Today, the Ball has established itself as a great night out with good food, music, raffles and auctions and is a must attend social event in the Illawarra.

Businesses who wish to donate can contact the Ball Committee at ipcb@police.nsw.gov.au.
